Story Narration wins laurels for DPS, Nashik
Delhi Public School, Nashik continued with its legacy of bagging prizes at K.K. Wagh Agriculture College at the Inter-school Competition, under the tag line ‘Guru Shishya Smritimaha Competition.’
On 3rd August, 2018, a Story Narration competition was held for the Junior and the Senior group students. The prerequisites of story narration like voice modulation, gestures, prologue, plot, poignant characters and epilogue were successfully fulfilled by all the participants of D.P.S, Nashik.
Family stories woven around respect, principles, empathy and hard work were narrated by the Junior group students Miss Urvi More, Std. VI and Mast. Tirth Shah, Std. VII. They successfully secured the 1st and 2nd position respectively.
Std. IX students Miss A. V. Bhavika and Miss Mrunmayee Dharmadikari bagged the 1st and 2nd position respectively. The winners who won laurels for the school were felicitated with a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 700 and 500 for the finalist and the 1st runner-up.
Sawali Sonawane and Sayali Patkar from Senior group as well as Mast. Kaustubh Gunjal and Mast. Nishant Jadhav from the Junior group were awarded with consolation prizes in the other category of Marathi narration.
Earnest gratitude to the host school was paid by Sawali Sonawane before returning to D.P.S, Nashik.
