Malhar Fest


The students from Std. III to X of DPS, Nashik shone in yet another competition- a week-long event's. The Malhar Fest organised by Gems English School on the occasion of Independence Day. They showed their excellent performing skills and stayed true to their winning legacy. Singing to the tune of Hindustan Meri Jaan Hai,the junior choir group of DPS bagged the first prize. The senior troupe sang the melodious song Bharat Anokha Raag Hai and received a consolation prize. Ms. Navni Brijesh and Ms. Priyanka Dhatrak secured consolation prizes in the drawing competition. Dancing with the spirit of true patriotism, the junior dance troupe of DPS bagged the second position and with an amazing concept of blending varied dance styles of India, the senior dance troupe emerged to be the winners of the competition. Ms Anjika Badakh was successful in winning the second position in the solo dance competition. The students who brought fame to the name of the school were felicitated by awarding a cash prize worth Rs.1500, certificates and trophies. Such competitions indeed help to develop a competitive spirit and enhance the confidence, team building, stage presence and performing skills.
