Knowledge Hours - a National level Talent search exam of General Knowledge which Creates G.K. awareness in Young minds, also teachers and Parents. An Annual Award Ceremony was held on 6th May 2017 at Raosaheb Throat Hall, Nashik. The occasion was held to felicitate National Award winning Students, Best Principal and Best Teacher coordinator whose students gave overall good performance in the exam. Delhi Public School's Principal Mrs. Chitra Joshi Madam got the Best Principal Award and Mrs. Samruddha Achawal received the Best Coordinator Award for the year 2016-17. The Awards were given by the Captain Vairagkar Sir and Mr. Sadanand Joshi an Actor, Mr. Muleye the International Director of Knowledge hours, Mr. Gangawane MD of Knowledge hours and Mr. .Rawat were the other dignitaries present. Ms. Pooja Nandgaonkar was also felicitated with trophy as a teacher for her cooperation. The Program ended with a cultural program with Social message and interviews of Principal and Teachers.

Inter School Girls Cricket Tournament

Star Cricket Academy organized Inter school girls Cricket Tournament, on Sunday 5th February 2017 in the name of Late Shri Avinash Agharkar former district Women's coach at Ravindra High School. Four teams participated in this tournament. Delhi Public School Nashik won the Tournament and entered the Finals. The Final match was played between Delhi Public School and Swaminarayan High school. Swaminarayan High School team scored 86 runs and Delhi Public School required 87 to win in 15 overs. DPS team scored 86 for 9 in 15 overs. The match was a tie and the organizers declared both the teams as winners. The match was beautifully played. Shira, Ananya, Aarna, Ruchita and Shruti Boraste played very well. Shruti Boraste was declared as woman of the match in the Finals.

Science and Mathematics Talent Examination (SMTE)

Delhi Public School Science and Mathematics Talent Examination (SMTE) is an academic and Scholastic aptitude competition to identify and encourage the creativity of a child in Science and Mathematics. The DPS society has Collaboration with SOF to enrich and strengthen it further. This test is specially designed for the grade IX to prepare them for future challenges at early stages. 26 students out of 94 registered for the same were qualified for SMTE level -II exam. They have cleared the level-I exam which was conducted on 9th November 2016.
 

NCA Interschool Cricket Tournament

The Cricket team of Delhi Public School Nashik, enters the Finals of the NCA Interschool Cricket Tournament (League 2). The semi Finals were held between Delhi Public School and Rasbihari School Nashik. Being a 40 over match, in the semi finals, Rasbihari School Cricket team had won the Toss and had chosen to bat first. They scored 197 runs on and all out in 39.4 overs. DPS team chased the target in 35 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. The captain of the DPS Nashik cricket team, Ansh Dhoot played a wonderful inning of not out 109 runs. Dikshant Raut scored a valuable 43 runs. Both the players made 130 runs in partnership. Ansh Dhoot was declared as the Man of the match. After this huge victory, DPS Nashik cricket team has now secured its place in the Finals of NCA Trophy. The Final match will be played on 19th November 2016.

The NCA Inter School Cricket Tournament 2016SUPER LEAGUE GAME 2 was organised on 14th November 2016. The match was held at theBhonsala School Nashik Cricket Academy Ground. The match was DPS Vs Silver Oak. Mr. SiddharthRajgharia, Director of Delhi Public School Nashik, was invited as the chief Guest. DPS cricket team had won the toss and chose to bowl first. Delhi Public School Nashik, won the match by 5 wickets. VedantShindereceived the man of the match award from Mr.Avinash Joshi Sir, who is a former Nasik District player and an Orthopaedic Surgeon in United Kingdom.

 

D.S.O. Taluka and District Cricket Tournament

Delhi Public School Nashik School Cricket Team won the DSO Taluka and District Cricket Tournament and has qualified for the division level. The School Cricket team has won the Nashik Cricket Association Runners up Trophy. DPS also participated in the Rasbihari Trophy and Inter State Trophy matches held at Jalandar. Girls Cricket team has reached the finals of DSO Inter School Tournament. DPS has won 5 consecutive matches and had entered in the NCA inter school tournament finals, winning the runners up trophy for the same.

The Spandan Rourkela, 12th All India Childrens Festival drama competition was organized in which Delhi Public School Nashik have bagged prizes. The Second Best actor was bagged by Ms. Kshipra. The second prize for the Best director and Best music was awarded to Sir Ravi Shukla. DPS Nashik stood at the second place in the Drama competition. The best Jury actor award was given to Ms. Ananya.
